A total of £910 has been donated to Staithes lifeboat station following two donations connected to David Holland and Alan Barwick who recently passed away.
David Holland was a lifeboat operations manager in Staithes, and spent many an hour helping the local community in the sea, whilst Alan Barwick was a former coastguard.
The donation of £910 was made to the lifeboat station from the Horse and Jockey pub in Selston, Nottinghamshire, in memory of the late David Holland. Whilst the family of Alan Barwick generously made the donation from collections at his funeral.
